Romance Novel 2011 Edition...

He grasped me firmly but gently just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone. He approached me soundlessly, from behind, and spoke in a low, reassuring voice close to my ear. "Just relax."

Without warning he reached down and I felt his strong, calloused hands start at my ankles, gently probing, and moving upward along my calves slowly but steadily. My breath caught in my throat. I knew I should be afraid, but somehow I didn't care. His touch was so experienced, so sure.

When his hands moved up onto my thighs, I gave a slight shudder, and partly closed my eyes. My pulse was pounding. I felt his knowing fingers caress my abdomen, my ribcage. And then, as he cupped my firm, full breasts in his hands, I inhaled sharply. Probing, searching, knowing what he wanted, he brought his hands to my shoulders, slid them down my tingling spine and into my panties.

Although I knew nothing about this man, I felt oddly trusting and expectant. This is a man, I thought. A man used to taking charge. A man not used to taking `no' for an answer. A man who would tell me what he wanted. A man who would look into my soul and say ...

"Okay, ma'am, all done. You can board your flight now."

HANDBOOK 2011

So it has been a few years since I have visited EVERYTHING BUT THAT...
I got this little handbook from a work friend today and thought that it would be a good way to start back up with my blog.  So without further delay, here's some little tidbits to help you through this coming year. Happy New Year everyone!

HANDBOOK 2011

Health:

1. Drink plenty of water.

2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.

3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy

5. Make time to pray.

6. Play more games

7. Read more books than you did in 2010.

8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day

9. Sleep for 7 hours.

10. Take a 30 minute walk daily. And while you walk, smile!
 Personality:

11. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

12. Eliminate negative thoughts and things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive and in the present moment.

13. Don't over do. Know your limits.

14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.

16. Dream more while you are awake!

17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner of his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.

19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.

20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.

21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are part of the curriculum; they appear and fade away but the lessons you learn last a lifetime.

23. Smile and laugh more.

24. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Society:

25. Call your family often.

26. Each day do something good for others.

27. Forgive everyone for everything.

28. For a learning experience spend some time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 8.

29. Try to make at least three people smile each day.

30. What other people think of you is none of your business.

31. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

Life:
32. Do the right thing!
33. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful, or joyful.
34. GOD heals everything.

35. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, and show up.

37. The best is yet to come.

38. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.

39. BE HAPPY EACH DAY!

Last but not the least:

40. Consider forwarding this 2011 message to everyone you care about.

Well it has been almost a year since I have posted anything here. I guess I should be more diligent in doing so. Life Happens and then you have to deal with it. I will post a couple of pics of some recent stuff that I have been doing. Other than that, I promise I will get back to posting stuff here.

This had to be the best football game I have ever been too.
39-33 the Red Raiders defeat #1 UT.

Dracula and Robin Da Hood at the Halloween Tailgate before the Texas game!

Ty's first time to trick or treat! He was a little lion!

31 - 28 RAIDER POWER!!!

What an awesome start to 2008. Tech came from behind and scored 17 unanswered 4th quarter points to defeat Virginia in the Gator Bowl. Good job boys!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. It was great being with family and friends. The most fun was the Nintendo Wii. It brought back memories of when I got my original Nintendo and everyone was gathered around the tv playing Duckhunt. Except this time, we were in a heated tennis match and bowling tourney.

Memaw says she plays the thing about 3 hours every day. What a perfect gift for the both of them.

Well I have one more week off until school starts back. Thank goodness. This down time is killing me. I have never been so bored in my entire life. I need school to keep me busy.

I guess that is about all i have for right now. Keep going beyond, you never know what's on the other side.

Is it okay to be mad at God?

This past Sunday at church, there was an interesting lesson taught to those who were there. The pastor asked the question, "When is it okay to be mad at God?" What do you think? That to me as a really heavy question. Is there truly an answer? Well, in the middle of the sermon, Mike asked the sound guys to find a video on Dave Busby's website. After watching the video, I think you will find your answer. I added a link to the websites found in my favorite links. The video is on the homepage. It's awesome!
